Consultancy & the Syntel products
Consultancy forms the dynamic link between Syntel and the ‘outside world’. By translating the business requirements of the clients into a functional and/or technical design, the consultants enable the software developers to work out a practical solution. In addition, the consultant makes the various applications available to the end user by testing, implementing and on-the-job training. The consultants are involved with the entire course of the software development, from pre-sales up to implementation of the software at the client site.

As a result of the high quality of their functional knowledge, our consultants can provide their services in very diverse areas. They can help, for instance, with implementations, package selection and audits, and can take responsibility within organisations for writing OA/IC procedures and desk instructions. They draw up business requirements and are responsible for the design, testing and implementation of various software programmes.All consultants have aquired experience during a certain period of time by assisting one or more of our clients on-site as a functional administrator. Areas of interest include, among others, private banking, retail banking, internet brokerage, clearing & settlement, authorisation, compliance, rules and regulations, and corporate actions.
